Ordering From Several Manufacturers in One Shipment

You can request products from several manufacturers in one inquiry. Here’s how consolidated shipping works, when it’s possible and how it can simplify delivery.

Many buyers need more than one type of product — cookware and tableware, soap and towels, footwear and tote bags. With Emperor Source you can request all of them in a single inquiry, even when they are made by different manufacturers. Where logistics allow, we combine them into one shipment. This is called consolidated shipping.

What is consolidated shipping?

Consolidation means collecting goods from several suppliers at one point and shipping them together — often in a shared or full container — rather than sending each order separately. For you, that can mean one delivery, one set of shipping documents and one point of contact.

The benefits

  • Simpler receiving: one delivery appointment instead of several.
  • Potential cost savings: freight is often more efficient per unit when cargo is combined.
  • Less admin: one quotation and one set of documents to review.

When consolidation is — and isn’t — possible

Consolidation depends on production timing, product compatibility, volumes and available space. If one product has a much longer lead time, it may be better to ship it separately rather than delay everything else. Some goods also have special handling or documentation requirements. For these reasons consolidation is never assumed when you submit an inquiry; your quotation states whether your order ships together or in separate shipments.

Delivery options

We can deliver to your business address in the United States, or to an agreed port where you, your customs broker or your freight forwarder collect the goods. Our shipping & delivery policy explains both options, including liftgate and appointment deliveries.

Customs and documents

Imported goods go through U.S. customs. Your quotation states who is responsible for clearance, duties and fees. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection tips for new importers page is a good overview if you are new to importing. We provide standard documents such as a commercial invoice and packing list.

How to plan a mixed order

  1. Add every product and variation you need to your Inquiry List — any category, any collection.
  2. Check the minimum order quantity for each product.
  3. Tell us your preferred delivery option and timing in the inquiry form.
  4. We reply with pricing, lead times and whether the order can ship consolidated.
